The purchase and collection of abstract painting can be a labor of love. I love abstract paintings. I think my favorite is the medium gouache. I just bought a work of Oscar Bluemner. The person I bought the abstract painting he had in stock for more than twenty years. I am going to hang this piece in my office. I found an oil abstract painting is dated 1947, which was painted by Louis Siegriest Bassi. I liked the composition, he felt strangely soothing. The artist has signed the back of the painting. It was a bit out of my price range, but I bought it anyway.
